![]() I found an english ROM for Doubutsu no Mori. ![]() This is the Japanese N64 version of Animal Crossing complete with the same music, character design, layouts, voices, music, objectives, and on. It’s missing certain NPCs like Kapp’n and Tortimer. It doesn’t have the island minigame (because there’s no e-Reader). It’s missing two villagers from the Gamecube version. ![]() There’s an internal clock (since the N64 didn’t have a clock of its own). It might not be such a bad thing that we had to wait, though, since there are very little differences between the two versions. ![]() While most western regions got Animal Crossing for the first time ever for Gamecube, Japan had Animal Crossing debut in the N64. Animal Forest is the literal translation of the Japanese name for Animal Crossing. ![]()
